Hey,

On which level are you attempting to change the background color and/or attach an image? I see you’ve changed the background color of your #container. You could also modify #page or any other sub-levels. Right now your #container code looks like this:

.custom #container {
background:#33332F none repeat scroll 0 0;
}

#33332F is your dark grey color. If you want to attach an image, you’d go:
background-image: url(your image URL);

To attach color or a picture to #page or any other sublevel, just use the same function as above while replacing #container for the proper DIV ID.

Hi Francis,

If I used full width, is there still any way that I can make the background colour different from the colour on my main container area. I want a darker colour on the two sides of my container with a white background in the middle.

Hey Dan,

Let’s say you want to have a border around your div called #page, you’d add to your custom.css file this line of code:

.custom #page { border: 1px solid #333333; }

You can change those variables to suit your needs. Check this site for border properties.
